Behind the fuse panel plugged into back of wiring harness
The old one will fall apart
Use those wires from the old and butt connect or solder on the new one
Don't try to pull the old wires out of the harness
You will not be happy with the end results

A quick fix
Disconnect the pull in wire on fuel solenoid and run a temporary wire to starter solenoid
Will only energize when you hit the starter

I have pulled the fuse panel but have not been able to locate the Thermister. I have battery voltage on one wire at the solenoid, One is Ground and no voltage on the remaining. I have not been able to determine which one of the wires on the solenoid are Pull,Hold and Ground. I am about ready to by pass it but I'm not one to do that.

Pull solenoid
Turn on key
disconnect one wire at a time.. Leave the common
The run wire is the one you have to push plunger in by hand to get it to hold
