Paul, The original price was upwards of $10,000. I saw that ad too. Look it over if your going to get it. It looks a little worn for such few hours.

Looks like it's been left outside for 20 yrs. My 400 looked worse than that with only 300 hrs on it.

Just seeing the trailer strap down locations I would be very worried. Obviously the owner did not care for or understand that a 1200 lbs of tractor cannot be secured in traffic over a plastic hood. The back strap doesn't look any better going over the rear fender deck. So that would lead me to think it was not well cared for or used by a less knowledgeable person - scary. But the price is right for the hours on that tractor and the good 60" deck even if a little beat up. I would inspect every bit of it and test ride, test mow, etc. Good luck!
