Hello ya'll - I'm am building a bocce court in my back yard and trying to figure out if I can get an attchement for my JD 425 to grade a 60ft x 12ft court. I have to cut about 6-8 inches on one side and fill about the same on the other. I need to do this donw the whole 60 ft length and it is getting old by hand. I do have a 3 point hitch. Hollar at me!

The least expensive thing would be to get a plow or cultivator for the 3 point hitch to loosen the soil first, then you could move the dirt easier by hand.

If you want to move the dirt with the tractor, you can get a Johnny Bucket Senior or a Johnny Bucket Jr.

Here's a company that makes a real front end loader for the 425, 445 & 455 models too.

Work saver make's Cat 0/1 implements the cat 0 pins are turned inwards. I bought a 4 foot blade for my White and once I bought my X485 I bought Cat 1 pins which where put on the outside of the Implements. Here's a Link http://www.worksaver.com/product/trb-dc.html :thThumbsU

You could go the pin swap routine, but I'd recommend a box blade sized for your machine. As it is, you will find that is a lot of weight behind your 425. :)
