While I’m generally a skeptic of old tractors with unusually low hours, this one looks like it may have some legitimacy to it.

I would think it is legit too. I bet the guy got a good deal on it and is trying to flip it. If your interested, I wouldn't be afraid to aim low. Especially when you get your fancy bikes in the pics!
I could believe the hours, but the ad says the blower and deck have never been used. Clearly not true. The blower chute clearly shows chips on the inside and the mower deck has paint rubbed off and rust on the front, sides, chute deflector and draft arms. Used very little that's for sure, but used none the less. If it never cut grass, then the owner drove around with the deck on for 285 hours. Fender pan has paint flaked off and rust.

Very nice machine and excellent package. Not worth $6000 though. I would pay $3500 CAD. The blade and blower make it a excellent snow removal package, but it is almost 30 years old. Either the seller is ignorant of the facts or is a liar.

Actually, pretty cool, but worth 6K US?
Would like to know the model years of the tractor & the attachments -
& what it all eventually sells for and/or if things get split up to be sold.
My guess is that unless some JD zealot (none in this forum:sidelaugh) with a wallet full of cash just has to have it, $4500 for the package will be fair.

While truth and accuracy may be stretched a bit in the ad info, it is in exceptional condition and the blower is mint, although it has been used a time or two.

Well don't have the Money anymore Just Bought a Tektite Cab for My 2025R. But still would Not touch it for $6,000(maybe if it was in fully restored condition and the attachments were In excellent condition I would Pay that):thThumbsU

Sergeant- any pics of your new cab? I quickly went through the JD CUT/SCUT forums but didn’t see any.

Last spring an X7xx series OTC cab was for sale nearby me. $500. New was $1300. I wasn’t inclined to drive two hours so I passed. Needless to say, I’m now regretting my decision.

That is one slick setup!
Sergeant,

I hope your cab works as well as my 2 year old never used Ariens Snowblower against snow fall.

Mikgran,

That's quite the find, it would make for an easy restore or a useable machine for a long time, the only issues I could see would be seals, rubber items and the such due to drying out. I would go along with $4500.00 as being more realistic.
