Hea! This is my first attempt at a post.
I picked up a JD 4100 w/ bucket,3pt back blade, JD Snow blower woods mower and a trailer about 2 months ago. Real happy so far.
Here is the problem. I inserted a pic of the sway bar. I hope i did it correct. I keep bending the Threaded rod that connects to the tractor. The back blade has a side load that bends the sway bar. I replaced the bushings last Sat. and bent them in 15 min using the back blade. and the lowers keep rubbing the tires "bad"
So here is what I have done.
I ordered offset lowers from Hoye and sway chains. The set up i have now is to ridgid. JD expected a lot form this part.
Any one else had this problem? any other ideas?

Domino,

Welcome to the forum! :Welcome1: Those sway chains need to be snugged up so that there is no play, otherwise you will bend stuff. :)

Yea I have been getting that. Slowly.
I need to have the this type of sway chain extended all the way out to keep the lowers from hitting the tires. After I receive the new offset lower arms this should help. I hope
