Jd 3020 steering problem

Hi everyone...i have a jd 3020 tractor powershift diesel...i started the tractor today after a starter motor overhaul and new battery...all good...but on starting in park,the steering wheel went to the left with no assistance from me...on turning the wheel back to center it wont turn to the right...its locked solid,like its got a steering lock on it...which it has not...its fitted with a front end loader....the tractor has been sitting for a long time with weight in the bucket....any help most appreciated
