I have a 1981 JD 2440 with loader bucket that I like to use for pushing snow. It has a block heater installed that works fine. However the cold start system for starting fluid has some age issues. The part on the dash that you push the can on has rusted shut so in removing that the steel line behind it that carries fluid to the intake had rusted and twisted off. I can easily get a new dash piece from my local dealer but the tube is not available. Would anybody be familiar with another piece I can use for this tube?

Is the tube made from steel brake line tubing? Lots were made like that....
Could be a small break line yes but it seems to have some small elongated ends. That's kinda what I dont know how to duplicate.
