What do you think, is it worth $500 and a 6-8 hour round trip?
Thanks!

I would call the dealer first to see if they still have it. Something tells me that this one sold already. I think it was on ebay.

I received a message from the dealer this morning confirming its availability.
If the lift and angle cylinders are in good shape, the blade with the hitch appear to be worth the trip.

Edit: Thanks, I reviewed the eBay ad and yes it appears to be sold. I'll give a call.
Id be there by now and on the way home cheap price
Take off from work early and go get it if the Ebay sale did not go through, Dan. As you already know, the power angle blade is worth $450 if the cylinders are good.

Decks for these are a dime-a-dozen, so no worries on th rot.

The hood has minimal damage, and the grill looks good.
Yes yes yes yes!! Awesome tractor, love mine!
Doesn't that blade seem narrow? Compare it to the mower deck. Weird.

Now that you mention it, it sure does.

But if it does indeed fit the 140, and is like a 42", it would be perfect for plowing urban sidewalks (which Danco mentioned wanting to do a while ago).
it is the 42 inch place, missing shoes and one trip spring. coupers look rusted pry wouldnt make a good connection/seal, id offer 350
Where are you getting the price of $500? The ad says $750 and if we are to believe it sold on Ebay, they say it went fr $560.
Well if you can get it I think it'd be worth that because of the blade and deck. I'd have to see the rot to determine if it was useless. At a minimum the parts on the deck would be worth about $50 - $100 if the spindles are ok!
The Ebay auction ended November 2nd, so it has been a while. Go for it if it is still available.
I’ve exchanged email with the dealer. It is indeed still available and the lowest price is $500. He has mentioned “that is what they have in it.” I’m guessing that is what they gave the PO on a trade.
It’s four (4) hours one-way for me from Long Island. My trailer/trailer vehicle lives with my JD 318 in NE Pennsylvania. If I rent a 10’ foot truck at $55.99/Day +$1.19/Mile
220 miles one way:
440 total miles: $524 plus $120 fuel.
Total: $1,200 +/-
I guess I’ll have to pass on this one.
But from your place in PA, to Rhaynam, MA, to Long Island, NY is only 488 miles one way. Would it kill you to have the Pilot and trailer in NY for a week or so? You could pick it up on a return from PA, then it would be in NY, where I was thinking you wanted it in the long run.

I can't imagine the dealer not holding it for a couple of weeks with a payment.

Yes, it would be for Long Island.
I'm trying to work some other options. You know, friends with trucks and trailers.
Thanks D-Dogg!
