Does any one have pics all the hoods for jd 111, local dealer says their are 3 different hoods keep in mind this is a hydro unit .I don't have the year of the tractor yet, because of repaint

Sorry, no photos. Dealer is right. The 1st ones are different than the newer ones; as the front bumper is not attached at the front bottom, a part of the hood. Later models, the front bumper is a part of the hood.
Pretty easy to tell which type you'll need.
Best to get the tractor's serial # & look at 111 hoods on JDParts.com. It should show the serial no. breaks - which hood for which year 111 per se.
You can find used ones but be sure to get the right hood. :goodl: JDD

is this the serial# , if so what year is this, these are the only #'s i have found on right side of the tractor, if not where else should i look

The no. should be to the right of MOO111H. Maybe it's etched/stamped. Can't read it. Anyway, if it's a 111 hydrostat, (manufactured 1982-85 I believe) it has to be at least a 1982 model & the proper hood will probably be the type that has the front end frame bumper piece attached at the front bottom of it. This is a picture of my Deere 111H hood and ID Plate. Sorry it' so nasty, been in the shed a while.
