Can I get replacement bearings for the J44 deck at the auto parts store?

You will need the bearing number, but a good parts man should be able to order them for you.

I can order on line. I hoping to get them locally and not have to wait.

I was told that they are a common mower deck bearing. Got mine at the local power drives place. They said they sell scads of them.

I just picked up 2 for 12 bucks at the local tractor store. Totally sealed like the origionals.
