Yesterday my little red toy arrived home with a couple of attatchments. Now I know you folks say "it didn't happen without pictures"so I made sure not to post without them Lol.I put it to work 10 mins after unloading it by clearing the snow from infront of my shop.Everything seems to be working fine except one small problem,I cant get the diff lock to engadge.I am doing everything according to the manual but the lever still will not stay down,a friend suggested that perhaps a wheel is supposed to slip before it will work.Anyone have any ideas before I have to call the dealer.I am trying to engadge it with everything in neutral, tractor not moving and still no luck.Besides that I am very pleased with the 1529 hydro, like the little gal with the golden hair once said,it's not to big and not to small,it's just right.

on my 1532 a wheel has to slip before it will engage. I hold my right foot on it and it will slide down, whenever good traction is available again, it unlocks itself. Nothing wrong with your tractor : )
can you snap a picture of how your "slow moving vehicle sign" is mounted to your tractor? The place I bought mine was horrible so I didn't get one with my tractor, I suspect the crooks that own it probably sold it to someone else....
Sweet and enjoy it. slkpk

Sure thing I will take a pic on the weekend.

Is yours a synchroshuttle, mine is a hydro so I dont have the foot peddle, mine is a hand lever that you push down with but I suspect it will work the same way.The manual says to not engage it when moving,do you engage your's when the wheel is slipping (spinning).I tried to engage it while crawling slowly and that did not do anything either.I will take a close up shot of the mounting area for the slow moving sign on saturday and post for you,I will be away most of the day tomorrow, but will see when I get back if it's not to late.

I engage mine while a tire is slipping, I throttle down, engage, throttle up and usually move, but sometimes dig in to stay : (

Sorry about the late reply my son has borrowed my camera and is away for a while with it (skiing). The sign has a small tab on the back that slips down into a receiver that is welded on the tractor and then tightened down,I will get a pic when the boy comes back.
