on my 1532 a wheel has to slip before it will engage. I hold my right foot on it and it will slide down, whenever good traction is available again, it unlocks itself. Nothing wrong with your tractor : )
Sure thing I will take a pic on the weekend.can you snap a picture of how your "slow moving vehicle sign" is mounted to your tractor? The place I bought mine was horrible so I didn't get one with my tractor, I suspect the crooks that own it probably sold it to someone else....
Is yours a synchroshuttle, mine is a hydro so I dont have the foot peddle, mine is a hand lever that you push down with but I suspect it will work the same way.The manual says to not engage it when moving,do you engage your's when the wheel is slipping (spinning).I tried to engage it while crawling slowly and that did not do anything either.I will take a close up shot of the mounting area for the slow moving sign on saturday and post for you,I will be away most of the day tomorrow, but will see when I get back if it's not to late.on my 1532 a wheel has to slip before it will engage. Sorry about the late reply my son has borrowed my camera and is away for a while with it (skiing). The sign has a small tab on the back that slips down into a receiver that is welded on the tractor and then tightened down,I will get a pic when the boy comes back.can you snap a picture of how your "slow moving vehicle sign" is mounted to your tractor?
