Just a self propelled scamp to me???Anyone else??
Rare but not really desireable. I have the same thing with a d engine on it.

This is the third different type of steel, 4-square deck I've seen now.

That's an odd one.
i wouldnt say its "ultra" rare:rolleyes: but it is rare, just not disireable, cant say its got good looks either:sidelaugh
Wrong wheels on it too... I've never used that SP system, and I've got a junk one in the trailer right now.
that's what happens when you let the owner's kid design his mower.

Kinda like an Edsel. :p
theres one of those on CL near me for $20 so i dont think its all that good.

Thats a great comparison.. I would say they are rare but arent worth much

I don't think it's a good comparison because that d engine utility with sp works VERY WELL! Don't knock it till ya try it!

Not knocking it.. I would like to have a "D" engined one like that, I had a SP scamp a few years back, was a ok mower..
But hey, if you like it, and it works, and the price is right...you can always unload it at a later time.

I just unloaded a 2000-2001 Silver Series 4-stroke steel deck LB in exchange for a non-running commercial 2-stroke/aluminum deck.

The Silver Series mower was free, and I got it running.
IMHO- Yes. Its rare because of the drive system used on it and the design/setup of the mower.
