My1980 horse is a pre-PTO model and I think I prefer it over the PTO models but having no experience with them I was wondering what I may be missing.

For those who have the PTO model I ask:

Do you use other attachments with your PTO horse? If so which?

How often do you remove the tiller attachment?

Is there any additional maintenance concerns with the PTO model?

If you had a non-PTO version whould you care?

thanks

I don't have any attachments and I don't plan on getting any.

I don't know of any extra maintenance concerns.

Right now it's a feature I don't need but you never know. If I happened to come across a generator for it, fairly cheap. Unlikely I know.

I bought my pre PTO Horse aroundthe same year yours was made, and originally I was wanting a PTO model for the wood chipper and the electric generator, but now almost 30 years later, I still have my pre PTo horse and love the machine.

I remove my tine attachment every winter and put on my snow blade. Cleans my asphalt drive better and faster than the alternative. REJ2.
