Is it True that a 5670 Agco-Allis has an air cooled diesel engine. They were made from 1991-1999. Anyone have experience with one or an opinion good or bad.?

I have not been able to find anything on the 5670 specifically but all the 5600 series AGCO-Allis tractors were powered by SLH air cooled Diesels. The 5670 had a 244ci 4 cyl that produced approx 69 hp. A number of Agco tractors used air cooled engines in those days (a hold over from Deutz) that proved to be more noisy and also troublesome in dusty enviroments. Personally I have used Deutz air cooled engines on stationary units and have found them bullet proof, though they are extremely noisy. All engines are now water cooled Cummins, Sisu, or Iseki engines. Try this site: http://www.todaystractors.com/ttforum/messages/89.html
