I have long viewed Simplicity as a Quality brand, and a bit too $$$

I see a Simplicity Conquest with 600 hours, not sure of date at first sale. Pics look good and it is less than 35 miles from home. Can get for under $1,000, maybe $800.

Is this machine only a heavy duty lawn tractor or will it operate some ground engagement tools, a garden tractor? Does it have belt drive or some shaft say for 50" deck... it is the 18 hp vanguard which should be good for at least another 1000 hours. The add says 22 hp, but one picture clearly shows 18 hp and that should be enough.

Maybe there's a Simplicity in my future.:thThumbsU

The K66 transmission is rated for light duty ground engaging work, so a qualified "yes" on that.

All attachments are belt drive on the Conquest.

If it's in decent shape, that's a great price.

I love my Conquest, so far it's been a terrific machine, closing in on 600 hard working hours, no problems other than belt issues.

OMG! You will LOVE Simplicity over your Craftsman. I went from a Craftsman GT (heavily modified) to my Simplicity GT and there really is no comparison. The Simplicity is truly the 'Cadillac' of garden tractors.

Go for it. I have had 3 Simplicities over my life, counting my father's old Coronet that I used growing up. I just sold a Regent that I loved and bought a used Prestige. Boy, that Prestige is fantastic. I'm sure you will love the Conquest.
