I am new to this site. I purchased my 1st tractor , a Ford 860, I was told it is a 1956. I would like to know what engine oil to use. The previous owner said he used 30 wieght non detergent oil. Is that the preferred oil or can I use 10w30?

I don't know the answer can really be best answered but if the prior owner used non-detergent oil I think that it would be preferred. I do know what the owners manual recommends but since you probably do not have one I suggest the link below.
