I just bought an ih 674. shortly there after the brakes stopped working. from what i understand it hasnt been used alot in a few years, but hasnt been just sitting. you can pump the pedals and after 5 or six times they finally catch. I noticed it has a hydrolic cylinder for each side. could this be my problem?

The system is fairly leak tolerant, but if top up oil is aerated you will always have spongy brakes !!!

Did you do the axle seal leak test ??? and what did it show ??
