installed a set of strobes for the winter so i dont go to johndeere heaven LOL

I could put 50 flashing lights on my tractor and the rich entitlement barstards around here would still try and run me down.


The only thing I have found to work is to park the tractor in the middle of the road, dismount and have a firm discussion with them about safety and who actually owns the road (The state/Township).

The first year I moved in I had a guy in a Mercedes trying to pass behind me doing 50 on a 35mph street in 4" of snow!

Cant cut the pass near the street without praying, putting out cones and waving a flag with a marching band parading around.

The first time I put out a cone it was a big ole penndot type weighing about 25lbs. Made the first pass and turned around only to hear a whooomp! and see the cone fly over my left shoulder and the idiots car screeching to a stop 50 feet in front of me.

Now I only use little cones that wont kill me unless their stuck to their bumper when they hit me.

I saw a woman in a Lexus try and play chicken with a combine a few years ago.


She called the cops when she wound up in the ditch demanding the farmer be arrested for assault with a farm implement. The cop and I had a laugh over this.

I offered to pull her out of the ditch and she refused and swore she would make the farmer pay. She wound up with a $150 ticket, $60 tow bill and was made to pay for boogering up the neighbors culvert.
