Did a quick search couldn't find the answer - I know the ballast box weighs 88lbs but what does the Imatch implement weigh - anyone?

I put four (4) 60lb bags of sand = 240lbs, two (2) 45lb barbells = 90lbs, two (2) 35lb Barbells = 70lbs, the ballast box 88lbs and what ever the IMatch is plus my 220lbs, loaded tires I think weigh in around 120lbs total ...

____
828 lbs - then whatever the IMatch is

If I were to guess I would say in the 35 pound range, I can hold them with my left hand and insert the bottom pins, could be lighter but it's in that range.
I'm going to say ask slkpk, I bet he knows the weight.
How much are the loaded tires ?
Hi

It depends on what they are filled with and what percentage of fill but for Calcium and 75% fill I think a 26 x12/12 is about 100 lbs each if I remember right.

My guess ... 139 lbs!

Imatch bracket must weigh more than that ...?
My Work Saver QH is around 75 lbs and I think I saw some where around 75lbs for the I-Match . slkpk
It's more complicated than that. The iMatch and other quick hitches push the weight further rearward. That gives more effective weight on the axle than the number seems to allude. :)

If we are talking about the IMatch Quick Attach unit that goes on the 3pt arms, I was curious and put one of mine on a scale, it reads 39 pounds.

The ballast calculator shows a negative thirty-seven (-37) pounds front end weight and a positive one hundred and two (102) pounds rear end weight when the iMatch is selected. The ballast calculator shows no weight either positive or negative when no iMatch is selected.

By my calculation (my math may be wrong) 37+102=139.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I can tell you without a doubt it's not a measly 39 pounds, either you have no idea what we're talking about, or your scale is completely screwed, or you've had to many single malt drinks prior to reading the scale. :ROF :drunkie:

I don't know exactly what it is but it's over a 100lbs and you can tell that by just looking at it - the unit has BEEF ...

there's no need to be rude to anyone guys. I would have to agree with Andy, the imatch does not weigh more than about 40 pounds, I put it on my tractor alone holding it up with one hand while inserting the pins with the other, I could not do that if the imatch weighed 140 lbs.
Nobody is being rude - joking, joking, - come on now - Geeeeeeeeeezzzz -

if it's 40lbs ... PROVE IT !!!!

Don't really have to prove anything, I have three of them on three tractors 2000 series tractors, we take them on and off quite often for the chippers or switching to the backhoe's, like i said I lift it with my left arm and insert the pins with my right, don't consider myself a weight lifter but I know my weights and my scale is accurate.

It sounds like you are very familiar with them so try weighing the one you have.

Why don't you weight YOUR UNIT and post a picture showing the scale weight...;)

Or set up a pendulum scale and set the Imatch on one side and toss a 40lb bag of wood pellets on the other side...

Then, you'll know for sure...

Old Fart here ... I give up!

There is a certainty ... the iMatch weights more than nothing, and less than one hundred thirty nine pounds!!

I'm WRONG! I'm not arguing anymore ... I'm too old for *&%@ like this.

Good day ....

Hi

I think I read somewhere that it was 60lbs. It seems about right to me from what I can remember. I bought mine used and when I was carrying it from the guys garage it got pretty heavy carrying it with 1 hand. I just tried to get the weight from jdparts but it is only available as a kit through the dealer so I couldn't get the weight that way.

You would think Mother JD would have the F'ing weight listed somewhere -

I can't take it off I'm to feeble -
