I'm a little reluctant to tell everyone this but if it helps just one person, it might be worth it. It might help you by having a laugh.:sidelaugh

I've had an MC519 for a few years and bought it used. It didn't come with a manual so that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it. On the back of the cart, it has a tailgate. I have been using it for cuttings and leaves with the tailgate on and didn't realize that I should not use it when the cover is on and using the Powerflow.:dunno: I would struggle each time I dumped it to remove the tailgate which was buried in clippings.:banghead3

So, if you have an MC519 and have been doing what I have been doing, stop doing that.:Stop: Take off the tailgate!:sidelaugh

hey, we all have our moments. I recently ran out of gas in one of the tractors I own, a 345, thought I had some sort of major issue, wouldn't start, kept changing everything, finally noticed, it had no fuel:hide:, my excuse, I had initially put plenty of fuel in it, but it had a fuel leak, so slowly drained all the fuel out and I was left with none, but until then, never thought to check the tank. The funny thing is I always complain about other people that run out of fuel and are shocked by it, although most of them have a fuel gauge:dunno:

Here is my Darwin moment on my MC519 cart.... Every time I had to dump it I would get off the tractor unlock the top and lift the cart by the handle to raise it while still holding the top up with one hand....... I didn't know if you hook the small chain from the top lock to the tractor all you have to do is lean back grab the handle on the cart part and it unlocks and tilts all in the same motion without getting off the seat.............. Don't even have to get off the seat to move it back down. Just lean back push and its comes down on it own and locks...........................

It's funny how we tell people things, (like check the gas tank) thinking they're obvious, then go and run out of fuel and wonder why the thing won't start.
Yes I've done that many times.
Those pesky fuel shut off valves get me every time :sidelaugh

When I bought my 318 last winter it purred like a kitten. The second time I used it after I had it home it stammered and sputtered the entire time. After a few minutes I shut it down in disgust, thinking I had bought a lemon. It was then that I noticed the choke lever fully open.:fing20:
