Well here in IA it's pretty common knowledge what the leading choice for farm and lawn equipment is (and yes it's green). I've always tried to be "different" so I've dabbled in Wheel Horse's and Sears/Craftsmans...but not for long. I have a line on a 140 H3 for a respectable price. It is in running condition and appears to be pretty straight. It is in dire need of some paint and cleaning, but all in all I think it will be a good tractor. The guy is "unburying" it from the pile as we speak and I'll probably drag her home in the next couple days.
I've been a little envious of all you H3 owners and what you've built/done/accomplished with those machines. If I can extract even a fraction of that wealth of knowledge from you....I'll be as happy as a pig in mud.

Soon to be added to the JD family, hope I don't disappoint. I should note...my last JD was a 317, and it was nice machine but a royal PITA to work on. I hope the 140 isn't going to be like that.
