I believe I need to replace (for the first time) the CD Ignition Module on my 7268 lawnboy. Is there any tricks or anything I should know? Just screw it in?

You want to clean the flywheel real good, wire brush, light sanding, scotch brite, etc...

You want to set your air gap between CDI and flywheel magnets to .010". A business card will do fine.

Keep screws loose, place card in between CDI and flywheel. Rotate until magnets pull the CDI to flywheel with card in between. snug up each screw then go ahead and tighten them both up. Rotate flywheel and slide out the card.
