Looking for some additional ignition keys for the 1950 8N. I found where all from 01/01/1950-12/31/1952 were the same. The other obvious question is what does the key look like? Mine may have been replaced by an aftermarket ignition set, but I don't know. Probably easier to just change the ignition set out with two new keys but if mine has the original ignition I would like to get some spare keys in case a squirrel or a kid runs off with mine.

Can anybody post a picture of their original key?
Thanks,

Is this it at the link. Mine looks the same.

Over the past 50 years I would bet good money the switch has been changed out. Easy way out is to just change the switch for a good marine rated one.

I had my local hardware store cut me several spares - the old timer had to show the counter kid a trick to freehand cut a blank down to fit (the stock blank was too long) - so I've got spares for $1 each and the kid's got a little more edumacation under his belt.

Those old timers are getting harder to find and are a treasure when you do.
