I was thinking about a small single stage blower mod....

I wondered if I could increase performance of my single stage Wheelhorse blower attachment by taking a piece of rubber conveyer belt material and putting it across the middle of the auger?

I thought if I can split it so it goes over the reinforcement and bolt it up, maybe it would kick up more snow through the chute, kind of like a squeegee blade. That and since I dont have to worry about timing of the second stage Im thinking it may help. Any thoughts appreciated!!!!
