Just bought a JD214 from a user MTD Tradesman, I just want to talk about the tractor, not me. So why do I have to post here and wait for my account to be activated?

As to your question, we have over 65,000 members and continue to grow daily, as you can imagine, a site this big is constantly bombarded with spammers, so to combat them, the software put in place requires new members to post here in the introduction forum which begins a validation process, once this validation is completed, (usually in less than an hour ), you are determined to be legitimate and can post anywhere you like.
