I need a Mower

i have a craftsman LT4000 that i need to get a deck on. i found a guy that will sell me a deck and all the hardware for 70 bucks. but then again, i found a guy with a 2 year old mower with a blown motor? 75 bucks? just drop my motor in that thing right? if that guy will ever answer his phone...
