I love my Lawnboy!

A few weeks ago I got my first Lawnboy, a 10545. I was going to clean it up with new paint but honestly I've enjoyed using it so much I just left it alone. I did give it a tune up, new filter, sharp blade and cleaned the muffler and it runs great - starts first pull EVERY TIME! I started using Maxima 927 Castor Oil and love the smell. Takes me back to our dirt bike racing days. Great oil too. I am really tickled with this mower! - Bear

I love my new Lawn-Boy too! It's a 7268 from 1979. I really like the staggered deck because you can trim over ledges without scalping, and you can cut closer in front of you. Believe me, it helps! And it leaves a really nice cut. Mine seems to need the primer a lot so I might look at the carb after the next tank of gas.

BTW, I should also give a plug for GTP who sold me the mower. He's a great guy to work with and he really makes sure you're happy. :fing32:

^ I would open up that altitude adjustment screw another 1/8th out since your up in Oregon to see if that helps. I just picked up a 545 also, those gold series F's are just awesome. I've used benol a few times myself and it does smell just like being back in mx.
-I also used Klotz in my old Penton. When I still had my V-series, it took me back to those days too...

Good idea, I'll try that.
