This thread reminds me of an incident just a few weeks ago when a local site offered a JD bicycle. It had been an advertisement in a JD dealership. Green bike with JD seat and JD badge on the frame. The bike had basically never been ridden, though it dated from the 50's. Sold it for $100. I called less than an hour from posting but it was gone.
