So I HAD TO let her go...my 3016 that is.
Just TOO MANY bills and with the wife laid-off it simply had to be done.
I'll MISS IT! and...I put ENDLESS hours into making it what it was. BUT...I learned a lot and I am now BACK IN THE MARKET and GT Shopping.
In case anyone is interested I got $4600 for her.
I'm looking to replace it with another machine...hopefully a 4000 series Ingersoll with a Blower. I'm looking to spend about $1500.
If anyone knows of a good deal in my neck of the woods, gimme a shout!

Farewell baby!

Sorry to see it go and have enjoyed all of the pics of it and the cab build. Good luck with your hunt for the next GT. Hope the new owner takes good care of it. slkpk

No.. I didnt have it that long...about 3-4 months.
I'll miss it and if we were in a more stable position I would never have let her go...but it is what it is.
If the new owner takes care of it...it will outlast him!

Creekhed,
While I am sorry you had to let her go, I am glad after our emails that you found a buyer. As you can tell by how quickly I spotted your tractor, recognized it, and emailed you I am always hunting for tractors in our area. I will keep my eyes open and let you know.
Let me know if there is anything specific you are looking for. And FYI I find way more 400 series than 4000.

I ALWAYS try to keep a + attitude...and this time will be no different.

This is an OPPORTUNITY to get another Case/Ingersoll and fix it up NICE!
Plus, I'll learn even more about these great machines as the process develops.

One thing is for sure though: This winter...or LACK THEREOF... is allowing me to take my time finding a replacement.

Well...I'm looking for a 400/4000 series preferably, although I'd consider the 200/3000 as well.

It would have to be in decent shape though... although I am not expecting miracles ;)

Sorry to hear about your wife being laid off. This is a tough time of year to have a reduction in income. Glad you were able to sell it for a good price. Someone got a very nice four season tractor.

After seeing your 316 restoration and improvements to the Ingy, I`m sure you will find a bargain and have it looking and running great.

Happy Holidays.

Sorry you had to let go of your 3016, To me the measure of a "real" man is how he treats his faimly and what he is willing to sacrifice for them! I hope the economy in your area turns around soon for you and yours. There will always be another tractor.

Thanks Guys!

Believe it or not your comments and support have made having to sell it bearable and have given me peace of mind.

I'm sure there's another project right around the corner!
