Hey, I have an older mastercraft hydrostatic that I bought used, it has sat for a while and runs good, but whenever freshly started and whenever I go uphill it will two intensities of squealing and it will loose acceleration. The sound seems to be coming from the drive belt pulley or shaft, I oiled the pulleys making sure not to get any on the belts. I dont know what to do or what the problem is. If you guys could please help me. I have some vids I can show if that will help. Thanks in advance.

Drive belt is worn and slipping. Install a new drive belt.

I'm sorry, but would you like the model# off of the engin or the tractor itself?
Sorry for the needed clarification. I'm only asking because the engine that is in it I dont think came with the tractor. I don't know if it matters or not.

Welcome to the forum!

What do you mean that you oiled the pulleys, but avoided the belt? What on the pulleys did you oil? If any oil is on the V-shaped surfaces where the belt rides, that will need to be cleaned off very thoroughly.

Well, what i oiled was the shafts that are connected to the pullies that either they spin on, or that make them spin. i made sure that anything that the belt touches is clean.

Are the V-shaped surfaces and belts still clean and dry?

Seeing the videos that you mentioned would help.

Can you have a helper watch the pulley/fan at the transmission? To see if that pulley & fan are still turning at the full speed, when the squealing starts? That should help answer the question of whether the belt is slipping.

Regardless of the belt's age, if it's not being tensioned correctly, if there is oil somewhere, or even if there's something weird like a pulley has stripped on its shaft, those sorts of things could cause the input pulley at the transmission to not spin properly, when a load is applied.

I don't think that is a mastercraft model number. Not MTD format and not canadian tire format.

except that google seems to disagree with me lol.
according to this it's not hydrostatic , it's the shift on the go vari-drive. means 2 drive belts and an adjustment procedure. I still don't think the 1183a mw is the model number.
