Hey, Bruce

How does the mower run now?
Any appreciable differences from when your unit ran normally?
What did the parts run for all the repairs you performed?
Do you know what other brands/models use this transmission?

Great article and thanks ;)!
Thanks for asking Mark,
First off the mower runs great! The right tranny runs strong and performs well.
I did a lot of other little repairs, so the costs were a little higher.
The tranny itself was as follows;
Input shaft $44.52
Filter $19.82
Fan kit/pulley $26.10
Seal $ 1.96
Vent cap $ 5.90
20w50 oil @ $10.00
Gasket Sealant $ 9.00

Total $117.30
Experience Priceless! :thThumbsU

New/replacement Cost $695.23
I'm sure you could find a good used one for less, but you get the idea!:fing32:

As far as applications for this tranny I'm sure they are used in some other brand mowers but I couldn't find any as of yet.
