Hi all. New here. I live in France and am finding it difficult to find out the type of hydraulic fluid needed for my Ford 655c back hoe/loader.
Steering oil ?
lifting gear oil ?
Can any one shed some light on this for me?

Do a parts search at the New Holland site; they list the part number for the hydraulic oil under "miscellaneous" for the 655C.

A further search for the part number (9624451, 5 gal container) reveals it to be "Multi G 134". That's the Ford/New Holland brand which I assume is unattainable where you are, but at least it'll give you a jump on finding a replacement.
