Quick question I am planning on changing the hydraulic fluid in my 1610d where are all the drain plugs and how much and what kind of fluid do you think is best. thanks for all the great info from this forum.

On the 1610 there is a plug right under the machine, The shaft that goes to the front axle, look there and you will see a plug, where it comes out from under the transmission
Also Napa universal tractor fluid works good and its easy to find.
Be sure and clean your suction screen. I "think" the suction screen is on the left side of your transmission housing behind a 3 bolt flanges. Be sure and drain your 4 wheel drive drop box also. I think the 1610 will hold about 12-1/2 quarts.
