After about three days of mowing, my hydraulic oil level has been dropping to the point where adding oil is a necessity. I use the proper oil in my hydraulics recommended for this 1955 Ford 640. No oil has been showing up on the outside of the case, so it was going somewhere hidden. Checking the transmission, the level hasn't changed, but after checking the rear housing, the oil level has risen twice the amount it was previously. Anyone out there had this experience, if so how did you solve the problem? PJ

Sounds like a split is in order to change leaking seals..
