Have a relatively new 2015 Husqvarna Z246 zero turn mower with Kawasaki engine and 10 hours on it. Runs great. However recently I've noticed that sometimes the engine stops when I spread both of the lap bars completely apart. Instead, the engine should run even if you exit the mower provided the blade is not engaged.
It appears some sort of sensor is sticking that is acting like a kill switch when the lap bars are spread apart.
As a workaround I need to sit on the mower and keep forcing the left and right lap bars towards the center and apart several times before I can turn the key and it will start.
What would cause this?
