If you were closer I have a set of wheels off of my HT23, along with a set of Goodyear Terra Tires on them. The tires have great tread, but the sun has gotten to them some over the years.

The 1886 has a narrower rear wheel though... I think? or was the the earlier large frames?

Wheels off a HT23 will work on a 1886.

Thanks guys. The wheels i'm looking for are 10 inches wide if you measure across where the tire bead seats on the rim,or 11 inches from outside to outside.Ineed a back spacing of 5 and a half inches.

The 12" rims from the later Large Frames will work just fine on an 1886. They will even work on the earlier Large Frames like the 1250's, etc. They were one of the available sizes right from the start of Large Frame production.

I'm not talking about diameter of the wheel, allthough I do want 12". I was talking about the width of the wheel.

How different are those from tube frames? Just wider?

Nitro:

They are also a different bolt pattern, they are 6 bolt instead of 5.

I wish you were closer, I would sell my wheels to you. I thought about making a cart and using them... but I haven't found 6 bolt hubs to fit on my current cart.

Nope. I bought a gasket and spark plug for the old one-lung Wisconsin. Then I had a guy in Wisconsin make a module for it... then I threw in the towel.

Too many other irons in the fire. I'll let it all go for $200 if anyone is interested.
