I am looking for a pair of tie rod ends for the main steering shaft on my HT23. They are 5/8" UNF male/female. I have tried all my parts suppliers in my city and nobody can come up with anything for me. Any ideas??

Thanks!!

This is what bothers me--------------- about this product

Ball Joints: Ball Joints (ie: ES, ESA, Qi, SQi series, etc.) are very light duty; they are typically used only in hand or foot actuated linkages.

Don't think they are rated for this use.

I am not going to put them on a car there rated for use on the steering parts of a GT that are moved by hand...........

Well, for some of us turning the steering wheel by hand, that is a direct couple to Hydraulic power that is 10 times stronger than manual steering, they may not be strong enough for an HT23 or a GTX, GT. But for manual steering, it may be enough.

It is a good question worth a call to the factory for clarification.

I got mine a few years back from midwestcontrol and they work fine. As Jerome is planning, you just have to place a large order in order to offset their high shipping cost.

Does anyone know if these are the same size that the 5019H Eliminator and the 5120H (GT2000) use?
The 5/8 for the GT2000 is a yes on the power steering cylinder, the connecting rod ends are 1/2 inch.

A bilk order was done a few ago and I ordered extras so I am all set for a few years . I have got them on all my restored LF's and also my Duratrac that has PS . I have not had a problem yet.
