Russ has a few irrigated acres and is trying to get a small scale commercial Sunchoke operation off the ground. He's a retired pipefitter who has a pretty nice "antique" machine shop. I'm a friend, real estate and construction advisor. We share ownership in a 24' gooseneck flatbed and a small Massey Furguson skid loader. Russ has Massey tractor and a Toyota forklift. I care for a couple of antique tractors at my wife's family "hobby ranch" in the mountains. We're currently attempting to get an old potato harvester operational to harvest Jerusalem Artichokes for the local market.
