My trimmer came with some light trimmer line pre wound, and I've bought more heavy-duty line. But the Speed Feed only wants to turn clockwise, to wind more line. Is there any easy way to remove the preinstalled line?

Fire up the trimmer and bump the head on the ground until the line is gone. :fing32:

i had this same issue, had to take it apart and remove the string. its very simple to put new string on after that.
