It really doesn't appear to be that many of us XT3 owners on this forum. The dealer where I bought my XT3 (Landmark Equipment) said I was the 12th XT3 he has sold this year. He had 2 more ready to go on his show room floor. I also didn't see any other lower end models on the lot like the XT3 GS, or a XT2 he only had XT3 GSX models and then large CC ZTurns. His place looked like, go big or go home. He mostly carried the top of the like in different branded equipment. This dealer also carried rental equipment.
The XT3 series is Popular. But Keep In Mind forums only represent a small Percentage of Lawn & garden tractor owners<img src="http://www.mytractorforum.com/images/smilies/thThumbsUp.gif" border="0" alt="" title="ThThumbsUp" class="inlineimg" />
Yes Sir I thought about that

Joe if you are interested in the Brinly sleeve hitch shoot me a message. This ones sitting around gathering dust.
Thanks for the offer. I started the 782 up yesterday, there's no way I'm running it right now with the way it smokes. I'll call Cub on Monday and see if they have an update.

Thanks Sergeant for giving me the heads up on this thread, life has been pretty hectic lately so I haven't been around as much as I would like.

Anyhow, this is my XT3 GSX. I purchased it in June of this year, and overall I'm pretty happy with it, though there are a few mild irritants that carried over from the GT2k series.

Coincidentally, today I just purchased a NOS 2016 Bercomac 48" snowblower, in Cub Cadet livery. This, along with the electronic options, should make this the easiest winter I've had in years.

Also, courtesy of Sergeant, I've got a lovely sleeve hitch... that I still haven't used.

Found a used Brinley box blade for a decent price, but I'm trying to compare it to the Agri-Fab and if it's not as strong I'll hold off.

Also, I suspect that you see less XT3 machines because of the price premium they hold.

I bought a used Agri-fab and can say that it is not up to the task it's built for w/o modification. Mine has thin tubing that connects to the hitch and with use the bolts have indented the tubing heavily. The PO flipped the hitch to the other side and promptly pulled the bolts into it as well. They need modification as detailed in this thread and I have bought the iron to mod mine for use.

Just curious what the mild irritants you mentioned are. Thanks, Rudy.
The two most bothersome are the location of the electric lift, and the **** headlight lenses. The former is just in an odd spot, and the later it something that is not fitting of a $5k machine.

A 3rd irritant is the OEM LED bulbs being no brighter than candle lights!

Here's mine on the lift. Makes sharpening the blades a heck of a lot easier.

WOW That's a nice lift!!! Cool!!!
Thanks. I bought a 300lb rated lift for my last mower after 10yrs of struggling on blocks, ramps, and jacks and loved it. It was too light for the XT3 so I sold it and bought this 750lb model w/o a seconds hesitation.
The arms can come off this one and it has a platform for atvs or motorcycles.

That's nice! I can see a lot of uses for one of those.

I don't know about that I like my deck lift switch where it is, but i have long arms so it's just right there for me with my seat all the way back. I think there needs to be a small dim light shining down on the dash for a little light. I have some small diodes I may add one under that dash overhang ledge.

It wouldn't be hard to relocate that switch to the dash if that's where you want it. Leave the existing switch there and get a new switch for the dash that way there's no hole where the original switch is. It'll just be a bumpy switch.
