I may go look at a 1862 forsale here locally. They are asking 900 and it has a 3pt and was supposedly garage kept and in good shape. I believe these just have a kohler M18? like my 1811 had... and should be very similar to the 2072 I had... any input would be great.

Thanks,
Nick

The 1862 is more along the line's of the 1811 it is not a Super Garden Tractor Like your 2072 was. The 1862 was built between 1990 and 1992 First Standard Garden tractor avaliable with power steering. The engine in it is a Kohler Magnum M18S. The Kohler magnum in your 2072 was a M20S. The 1862 does not have a optional rear PTO avaliable for it like your 2072 had. $900 is a very fair price for the 1862.:thThumbsU

I've got a 1862 with a 42" deck. I'd love to have a 3pt, but instead, bought an electric lift for it last year on clearance at Tractor supply for $100. It's been a great tractor with lots of power. A buddy of mine bought it new in the early '90's for about $5k. Oh, and the power steering and tilt wheel are pretty cool also:trink40:

I missed out on the one here locally. I believe the guy ended up selling it for 700.00. I guess it was in pretty decent shape. I felt really bad because i sold my 1811 to a friend of mine for 800.00, and I don't think mine was as nice as the newer 1862 that sold for less... i didn't tell him about it.
