Does anyone know how to bypass / make jumpers / eliminate the safety switches on a RZ5424 ??? Yes, I know they are there for safety, but if they are the problem, then they are a liability....and I don't feel like replacing them an a regular basis. :thanku:

"Oh no, I can move forward because my brake is on"--is this the reason for that particular safety switch ??? LOL

I don't think you'll find any help here on defeating safety devices on a piece of equipment, as that sort of help is frowned upon in this forum.

I don't know if you've had problems with any switches on your RZ5424, but I own an Ariens garden tractor I bought back in the early '80's and have had no issues with the safety cutout switches it has on it.

Thanks, Mark. Appreciate the sharing of the info.

Let's see, I've got it here somewhere.... Oh, here it is, House Rule #5:

5. No Illegal/unsafe Suggestions. Please no pointers, how-to’s,etc of any illegal/unsafe practices. (example: By-passing Safety Switches)

There we go.
