I’ve started a house call equipment service. It’s starting to take off. I work out of a car but I know what to bring to diagnose and repair 80% of the time. The other few times they were impressed and brought their machine to my shop. Retired Deputy Sheriff. I’ve been working on equipment since 10 or 11. In the woods limbing trees at 12. No chaps or ear protection. I grew up in the late 70s and 80s. My best friends father was a New York State Mechanic. We learned so much from that man. He was a ham SK NOW WB2DTW. My call is AA2YG.

That's an interesting concept.

What's your location?

What is the scope of your work, tune ups, carburetor cleaning, blade sharpening, etc.?

I would think you could make a pretty good return cleaning carburetors from the poor fuel we are subjected to.

I would suggest you start using hearing protection. Both my dad (HD mechanic for most of his life) and my brother (landscaping for 20 years or so) have significant hearing problems from not using it.
