Does anyone know how to test the CDI coils on the Honda GX690 or have access to the shop manual which provides the test procedure? Thanks

If you have some old honda gx200 coils I can show you how to use them instead of the factory coils on the gx620 630 and the 690 ...it's so simple ...

you knock those end tabs from the gx200 gx240 gx270 gx340 gx390 ...then you knock the gx630,620,690 end tabs out and insert them into the honda gx200 coil ends ...then wala you have coils with no rev limiter and then you just make a kill switch for the coils ...done ..

Note, this is a 11 year old thread, the O.P. likely has resolve the issue already. But perhaps future searchers will be able to use your suggestions.

This is not a complaint or sarcasm, just a note that it's a old thread.
