homemde johny bucket with 8 pics.

Here is my homemade homemde johny bucket. It may be made out of wood but it only has to hold up for a few days bcause i got a load of dirt to build a damm. here is the first pic
the bucket connects to the plow.


here is the top view.you can see the hinge's.

this is the bucket dumping.

here you can see the dirt pile i need to move.that was one scoop.the pile is about 8 feet long by 4 feet high.

here is the creak.its dried up now but when it rains it gets 3 to 4 feet deep.this view is looking down into it.

wet sand is very heavy ...I dont think the screws in you hinges will hold once you get some weight on there ..I could be wrong ...good job tho looks pretty good for being made out of wood

its dirt but still its heavy.the screws are regular 3 and a half screws.if they brake than ill put lag bolts in place

If the weight pulls the screws out, I'd consider lagbolting the hinge to the back of your upright post instead of the top. That way the weight is not pulling down on the threads.
