It didn't work up much of a sweat and really saved a lot of hand digging.
man that thing is awesome!! great job in building it, congrats
Piece of cake, great job! Can I come over and play?
did a good job impressed by it
Wow, very very dangerous. Never allow anyone to get in the line of pull especially when you are using a strap since it is elastic. In the future, at a minimum throw a moving blanket over the strap, but I would just use a chain. I pull shrubs and stumps out all the time with my tractor and my SUV and always just use a length of chain.

Very impressed with your tractor build BTW. Funny thing is, it would probably make an incredible rock crawler.

I agree with no one should be in line of a pull.
allways use a strap!!!!!!!!!

you wouldn't beet some with a strap if they had a chain!!! like knife in a gun fight.

Awesome tractor, Really liked the video showing the snow plowing it does, nice job!!

....and great to see another Londoner on MTF. :trink39:
Good job! Not hardly a spin tire pulling those. Enjoyed the Snow removal also from earlier this year!:thThumbsU
that was great. i have some bushes we have to pull from in front of the house. my little 11hp racer could never do that. BUT.....we have a 1965 CJ5 with a factory Buick V6 and ultra low gears. shoul have no prob's doing the deed. i will try to video it and post it.
That tractor is begging for a front end loader!
A guy on a neighboring farm got his big IH tractor stuck. They tried pulling it out, pulling from the rear with one of those ropes that stretch. Well the rope broke and decapitated him. We never used those ropes on our farm.
He has a chain.

edit: sorry thought there was a chain on both ends. I agree rope/webbing is deadly.

If you drape a heavy moving blanket over the strap, it usually keeps it down in case of a failure. The other big no no is people that use a trailer ball as a tow point for a strap, they fail as well.

The nice thing about a stretchy strap is they pack more of a jerk than a chain which is useful for stuff that is stuck.
