Someone posted about a Home Made Carb cleaner recipe.

It was some Dish washing soap or Laundry soap and hot water.
Anybody remember what that stuff was?

My Power Washer has a Tecumseh 5 Hp engine that has been sitting for a long time.
I'll clean that Carb good! Don't want to have a Heart Attack pulling on it and hoping it will start.

The one I posted about was 50/50 Pinesol and water, with an over night soak. Dry with compressed air.

I have heard that but never tried it.. Might cost as much as a can of carb clean though...

normally the ATF/acetone concoction is put in a spray bottle and it last a pretty long time but I do see what you mean. It can get just as expensive

I think Ron's 50/50 Pinesol n' hot water was the one I was looking for.
Memory is getting kinda spacy, but Tecumseh Carbs will never change. Every spring, clean the Carb!
