Well you can probably figure out that I'm MontyJ's wife from my screen name....:)
I'm happy to have followed my hubby to this board. The other site I was visiting was getting a bit old and I felt "unwelcome" at times. I dont have any useful information about tractors but I'll be happy to share my hobby's and info about roses with any one interseted.

Poncho62, MontyJ started buying me roses for Mothers Day a while back I've got about 15 of them. I was having a hard time with deer eating them so they were moved this spring. So far they are doing great. Only have a few that have bloomed so far. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I'm no expert either, but I know they are difficult to protect from below freezing temps here in the winter! :( I've lost a few to hard freeze. Live and learn right?

Montyj and I have learned a lesson this year......never plant dahlia's with roses......lol I did not realize how big a dahlia would get! I had to prune the dahlia's back so my roses would get enough sunlight and bloom.

Welcome, I'm glad you found this site, it's very helpful and fun. I'm not so much into roses, but the wifey is, and let me tell you the #1 problem is the *!#@% RABBITS!! A few weeks back, gettin ready for work I saw 1st hand a RABBIT pulling the rose bush with it's front paws, eating' shaking' eating. Our garden is also in danger. The boys trapped 15 RABBITS in our yard, 10 in the neibors yard and 12 in the brother-in-laws yard, that was last year. Sorry this was about roses not RABBITS. We call the oldest boy Elmer (Fudd). Welcome to the site!!

Hi Sheila, thanks for the welcome. I will post some more pics as soon as I have some open. They are kind of struggling this year because of the spring transplant. I have a few that havent even bloomed this year. :( maybe next year.
