Well hit up a garage sale today and just happanded to open a bag, and saw.....a old camara! Looked like my old K1000 and it had a tele lens with it....so I grabbed it fast. Well get it home, and its not a K1000 its a Honeywell Pentax sp1000. It has screw on lens, so the thought of having a nice tele lens for the K is out the window..... but what is this? Is it any good? How does it com pair to my K1000??

I think that's the precurser to the K1000, those are fun cameras, I have an old Minolta and my grandpa's olympus tucked away, but with the advent of digital and instant feedback I havent used them much.

Ya it has to be older. It had a letter in the bag for when he sent a lens in for warentee replacement and it was dated 1974. I belive the K1000 came out in 75-76 range
