I have a 97 Murray Power Trac Garden Tractor, 20 HP Briggs.
The motor starts and runs smooth, but when I put it into gear and try to move, the engine bogs down and dies. The tractor will "bump" a little bit, but there's really not much movement. It is as if a parking brake is stuck on.
Can anyone point me to some obvious troubleshooting? I am an experienced mechanic on both cars and 2 stroke offroad vehicles, but this is my first tractor. I already checked the routing of the drive belt and it looks correct.
